A clever improvement for a smart gaming mouse is the Logitech G502 X Lightspeed. The Logitech G502 X Lightspeed is a comfortable, useful, and beautifully designed gadget with superb core performance and a tonne of extra capabilities, just like its predecessor, the Logitech G502 Lightspeed. Contrary to its predecessor, the G502 is somewhat more streamlined, marginally more personalizable, and marginally less expensive ($140 vs. $150, at least for the default configuration).

It’s impossible to seriously criticise the G502 X Lightspeed because at its core, it’s still a Logitech G502. The G502 X Lightspeed is a candidate for best gaming mouse and best wireless gaming mouse, nevertheless, in all other respects. Our whole review of the Logitech G502 X Lightspeed is below

The entry-level Logitech G502 X Lightspeed features an ergonomic design, wireless USB connectivity, compatibility with the Logitech G Hub software, a long battery life, and a receiver that also works with Logitech G keyboards.

The Logitech G502 X Plus is an additional option and costs $160. With the exception of RGB lights, it functions exactly like the Lightspeed. The G502 X Plus boasts a stunning and unique LED band that spans the palm rest. You may configure several lighting patterns in this band, such as rainbow waves or static colours. The only differences between this gadget and the G502 Lightspeed appear to be its somewhat lower battery life (130 hours as opposed to 140 hours) and slightly heavier (3.7 ounces as opposed to 3.6 ounces) weight.

The Logitech G502 X Lightspeed should look rather similar to you if you are familiar with earlier G502 versions. The G502 X Lightspeed is a right-handed ergonomic mouse featuring a curved profile, a thumb rest, a textured grip, and a slight depression in the palm rest, similar to the previous models. It is significantly less angular, a little bit smaller, lighter, and lower to the ground than its predecessors. The G502 X Lightspeed doesn’t invent the wheel in any other way, though.

The device has a generous number of buttons without feeling overly complex. On the face, there are two buttons to modify the dots-per-inch (DPI) sensitivity, a left and right button, a scroll wheel that clicks three times, and a scroll wheel. One programmable button changes profiles, and one non-programmable button modifies the tension on the scroll wheel. Both are located below the scroll wheel. If you need to swiftly browse through papers for productivity purposes, the free-scrolling option is quite helpful. I frequently use it, even when I’m testing a mouse that doesn’t have it.

The fact that the Logitech G502 X Lightspeed is a fantastic product may not come as a surprise. It belongs to a long line of outstanding gaming mice made by one of the top producers on the market. However, there is nothing wrong with slightly improving a great idea. You don’t have to buy this right away if you already have a Logitech G502 in your possession. The G502 X Lightspeed should be one of your first stops, though, if you’re looking for a new wireless gaming mouse.
